Mariana Moura Ramos é Mestre em Psicologia Clínica e Doutorada em Psicologia da Saúde pela Universidade de Coimbra. Tem desenvolvido a sua investigação na área da Psicologia Clínica e da Saúde, focando os seus interesses no estudo da adaptação emocional à doença, nomeadamente à infertilidade.
Os seus trabalhos de Doutoramento foram dedicados ao estudo da adaptação dos casais inférteis à experiência de infertilidade e à procriação medicamente Assistida. No seu projecto actual, procura conhecer a influência entre os processos emocionais dos casais inférteis na função reprodutiva, explorando as repostas psicobiológicas associadas à experiência de stress.

Mariana Moura Ramos concluded her Master in Clinical Psychology and her PhD in Health Psychology in the University of Coimbra. She has developed her research in the field of Clinical and Health Psychology, focusing her  interests in the study of emotional adaptation illness, namely infertility.
In her PhD, she studied the adjustment of infertile couples to infertility and medically assisted procreation. Currently, her research project aims at examining the influence of the emotional processes of infertile couples on their reproductive function, by examining its psychobiological link.
